AJ Styles Showed Up to Natalya and TJ Wilson’s Dungeon and Turned a Regular Practice Into a Five-Hour Masterclass

AJ Styles pulled up to The Dungeon unannounced and the students there got one of the best days of their wrestling lives.

Natalya posted about it on social media, saying the practice was never supposed to go five hours — but when AJ Styles walks through the door and starts sharing knowledge, you don’t exactly look at the clock. She called it a masterclass from one of the best to ever do it, and nobody who watches wrestling is going to argue with that.

The Dungeon is the training facility run by Natalya and TJ Wilson, built on the legacy of the famous Hart Dungeon where Stu Hart trained generations of wrestlers in Calgary. TJ Wilson — better known to fans as Tyson Kidd — has been deeply involved in developing talent since his in-ring career ended due to injury. Natalya has kept that Hart family tradition alive by continuing to invest in the next generation of wrestlers.

Having AJ Styles come in and work with those students is a massive deal. This is a guy who spent years in the independents quietly becoming the best wrestler on the planet before WWE ever signed him. He did it in TNA, in New Japan, in ROH — he built his reputation the hard way, match by match, across basically every major promotion that existed before he ever set foot in a WWE ring.

Since joining WWE in 2016, Styles has been a multiple-time world champion, a Grand Slam Champion, and someone who consistently delivers in big match situations regardless of opponent or stipulation. The man is a walking clinic every time he steps between the ropes.

So getting five hours with that guy in a training setting? That’s not just a good day. That’s a story those students are going to be telling for the rest of their careers.

There’s real value in this kind of thing beyond just the feel-good moment. Learning from someone like AJ Styles — someone who has worked every style, every format, and every level of the business — gives young wrestlers a perspective that is genuinely hard to come by. You can watch tape all day. Being in the room with someone who’s lived it is completely different.

Natalya sharing this publicly also says something about the culture she and TJ are trying to build at The Dungeon. They’re not just teaching moves. They’re trying to connect their students to the broader wrestling world and give them access to the kind of mentorship that actually shapes careers.

AJ Styles is currently still with WWE, and while his role and future with the company has been a topic of fan conversation in recent months, moments like this serve as a reminder of what he represents to the wrestling industry at large. He’s not just a performer. He’s a resource. A library of professional wrestling knowledge that any serious student of the game would be lucky to sit across from for even an hour.

Five hours though? That’s a gift.
