Carmelo Hayes just linked up with 946 and Efrain is not letting anybody forget he saw this coming. The real question the guys are digging into is whether this is the right move for Melo right now. He was built as a top guy, a main event name, someone who carried NXT on his back. So does sliding into a faction serve him or slow him down? That tension is the heart of this episode and both sides of the argument hit harder than you might expect.
Penta cashing in and winning Money in the Bank is also on the table, and the guys break down what that briefcase actually means for his trajectory on the main roster. Then there is Je’Von Evans, who apparently did something so filthy it is already in the Spot of the Year conversation. If you have not seen the clip yet, the reaction alone tells you everything you need to know about how wild it was.
The full episode is where the real debate lives. Efrain is taking his victory lap in real time and Dominic is not just letting it slide, which makes the whole conversation must-watch energy. These are the kinds of takes that age either really well or really badly, and right now the receipts are coming in fast. Does Carmelo Hayes joining 946 elevate him or is this a step back for someone who should be going solo at the top?
