Eric Andre is not letting this go.
On the June 15 episode of WWE Raw, Andre got a little too comfortable around Jacob Fatu and touched the Ula Fala. That was the wrong move. Fatu laid him out, and Roman Reigns just stood there and let it happen. No intervention. No apology. Nothing.
Now Andre is talking, and he wants smoke.
In an exclusive interview with ClutchPoints, Andre made it clear that Roman should not be sleeping easy. His exact message — if he were Roman Reigns right now, he’d have eyes on the back of his head.
That’s not a throwaway line. Andre is genuinely locked in on getting some kind of payback against the OTC, and the way he’s talking about it, this feels personal.
What makes this whole situation interesting is the context around Roman right now. Reigns has been navigating a complicated dynamic with The Bloodline since returning, trying to reassert himself as the head of the table while Solo Sikoa’s faction has taken over. Jacob Fatu has been one of the most physically dominant acts in WWE over the past year, and Roman essentially using him as an attack dog against a celebrity guest is very on-brand for the Tribal Chief era.
But Eric Andre is not your average celebrity cameo. The man has built an entire career around chaos. If you’ve seen The Eric Andre Show for even five minutes, you know he operates on a completely different frequency than most people. He is not going to show up, take a beating, and go back to Hollywood quietly. That’s just not who he is.
WWE has been leaning into celebrity involvement more aggressively in 2025, and Andre is exactly the kind of talent that can actually work in this environment. He’s genuinely funny, he’s physical, and he does not care about looking cool. That combination can produce something real if WWE books it right.
The question now is whether this goes anywhere beyond a talking point. Andre cutting an interview saying Roman should watch his back is a great start, but the follow-through matters. Does he show back up on Raw? Does this turn into an actual program? Roman is one of the biggest stars in the history of the company, so a full celebrity feud might be a stretch, but a marquee moment at a premium live event? That’s absolutely on the table.
Fatu attacking Andre also plays into the larger Bloodline story. Roman not stopping it tells you something about where his head is at. He’s still willing to let chaos happen around him if it serves his interests. That’s the Tribal Chief operating as designed.
Andre put people on notice. Roman Reigns has been warned. Whether WWE pulls the trigger on something bigger here is the only thing left to find out.
